American Legion representatives, Marine Corps Air Station Yuma leadership and others will conduct the first Quality of Life Town Hall in Yuma, Ariz., in October.

All servicemembers and their families stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma are invited to attend the event to share their experiences. The feedback received will be reviewed and used to improve the quality of life at MCAS Yuma and potentially applied at other military bases in a joint effort between The American Legion and Yuma air station. You are encouraged to submit a brief question or comment below so that the topic will be addressed during the meeting.

The town hall, which starts at 6 p.m. Oct. 23, will be held at the Sonoran Pueblo Club. Topics on the agenda include:

  • Pay and benefits
  • Exploring barracks and housing solutions
  • Access to quality health care
  • Family support programs
  • Transition and employment programs
  • Community relations and volunteer programs
